If injury occurred, what level is it? For example, did it penetrate half the depth of the dog’s tooth? In this case, the dog entered a new environment, was held by a primate he is sensitive to, and showed some discomfort in movement. His displacement or turning behaviors should be understood before we take measures. From what we see, there was no actual bite, and perhaps the dog has never shown such aggressive behavior before. After being rehomed, his current state is declining. At 2.5 years, a dog already has established impressions of the world. I wonder if he has shown excessive behavior that led the family to avoid going out or to push him to approach people too quickly. Social isolation and over‑arousal are not good conditions. I would prefer to let the dog rest first, then consider how to build attachment, and quietly re‑introduce him to the world. These special situations are not ones where a stranger trainer can immediately intervene. Secure rest is also part of building a relationship. I would not use incompatible behaviors at this stage. If space allows, I would give him an environment where he can decide distance himself, and observe whether he chooses to reduce distance to people. Even in rehoming, we must consider what imprint he carries about the human world. We should also ask whether these conditions affect his medical care. If he only likes a few humans in his lifetime, then training must focus on how it benefits his daily life. If his condition improves, I would teach games. Paws up has mentioned his jumping; perhaps this behavior has appeared frequently in the past? Another important point: all sounds we make are heard as needs. I would not throw coins into a bottomless wishing well. When the dog vocalizes, I will judge whether it requires immediate action, a mirrored response, or is simply an expression of need. “Although I remain somewhat concerned, I have not observed any fixed or repetitive behaviors.
